Instagram user? Cool, head on over, drop me a follow and stay up to date with where I’m playing and what I’m up to!

Upgrading my bass with a @guykerofficial Drop D locking tuner. Woke up and it's nearly Christmas. My hidden gem. Number 2 of the herd. I’d like to wish you a Merry Christmas in the form of chord melody. My own arrangement with zero method and totally off the cuff. Studio time with @lyraofficialuk Upgrading my bass with a @guykerofficial drop D Locking tuner I've already decided but gimmie ya thoughts. The level of endurance required for this line is nuts but we out here and we are grooving. One of my fave lines. Moments before the foundations were well and truly displaced with huge amounts of BASS. Upgrading my bass with a @guykerofficial Drop D locking tuner Oooo we out here jamming some FUNK!!! People say it’s rude to point but I disagree. Photographers seem like it. Had a blast playing bass for the legendary @craigcampbelltv earlier this year! More of that please! Upgrading my bass with a Guyker Drop D locking tuner Headed out with @theteddyclarke to play the legendary venue that is the @fiddlerselbowcamden and what a fantastic night it was. Headline show was sick and the calibre of bands on was honestly peak. Check out Teddy and his tunes, he has some serious bangers out there! Lights on a bass are extremely useful. There has been many an instance where the stage darkness has caught me out but those days are over! Phew Post gig snaps with the one and only @theteddyclarke! Headline show at @fiddlerselbowcamden ✅✅ Took a trip to the other side of London town today to perform as part of @positivelyputney’s wonderful ice sculpture trail. These wicked statutes are dotted around various spots and businesses on the high street and are most certainly worth taking a look at. Dunno how they are made but they are so cool. Here’s a video showing what it takes to be a busker in London. There are good days and there are bad days. Some days are rewarding in ways other than cash though if I’m being realistic, cash trumps all. More of this and we're all gucci Am I brave or stupid, potentially both but anyway, I wrapped up warm and played outside. Plenty of people were scurrying about trying to get those Black Friday deals, early Christmas presents and a coffee to make ‘em warm. I was doing nothing but watching folk live their life. I think that’s why I like busking a lot ‘cause I just watch people do stuff. Okay so I’ve gone out on a limb here. I heard this song/video @mariedresselhuis posted and thought, you know what that needs - 8 string fretless bass. I’ll leave it up to you to decide if it was an absolutely ridiculous idea or not. Personally, I like it though I’m sure upright bass would have sufficed. Alright, continuing on with the gig diaries! I’m with the Blues Patrol for this one. If you missed it, you missed out. If you’ve ever wondered, well wonder no more! All my original music that’s online is made with this board. It’ll do literally anything I need it to. It’s all powered by drill batteries which is totally novel. Props to my dad for that idea! Bass - the gift that keeps on giving. Sitting in that low end of the band just hits differently, locking in with the drummer and just letting the tune roll on by. You just can’t beat it really. Bass solo time! Man that little @philjonesbass bass is COOKING!!! Anyway, hope you like it. Reunited. Folks, when I say this instrument is a lot of fun, I mean it. Pretty much most of my music is written and played on this. Obviously the FX used really bring this instrument to life but what gets me is how well it adapts to such a wide array of sounds. Deffo one of the most versatile things I’ve played. Welcome back to the gigging diary of a musician, had a lotta fun with this one. It’s not every day I get to take 3 basses to a gig and y’know if you combined all three of these basses into some sort of Frankenstein creation, you’d get a big double bass. Maybe I shoulda just done that?? Anyway, if you get the chance to watch a show at @thetuesdaynightmusicclub you should do it. It’s every Tuesday would you believe it? The gig was with @guytortora and you should check him out. ‘Jaco only needed 4 strings’ yeah well I’m using a 5-er to play the blues. It’s all gucci. Too early??
