@martitakespics nailing it with the candid snaps! Not much beats the feeling of the rumbling low end on a stage! I added some sauce to this version by @annalille! I’d like to take a post to thank both @mooringsalderney and @georgianalderney for having me play during the last week or so! Both were fantastic shows with a wonderfully attentive audience. My family and I were very well looked after with food and drink, hospitality was off the charts! @martitakespics back with some awesome snaps, albeit of me. I’m always happy to be a Guinea pig and be subject to her testing of lenses and cameras. These came out great imo. Ah he’s posting ANOTHER 8 string bass video again! Bass stomps help the groove, it’s been scientifically proven. P.s always give the photographer a smile. We ALL know that if Wilton Felder had an 8 string bass, he’d have been totally unstoppable I was never sure it would get to this moment, 70 shows of PURE country! What a night to finish on, Shrewsbury came through and it was one of the best nights of tour. Since January, we’ve been all over the UK, covered thousands of miles, seen folks from all walks of life, eaten too many microwave meals, slept in probably ALL of the travelodges and played a bazillion bass notes. So so very excited to play @hornvenue 29th September with my @almostallmanbrothersuk brothers! Grab some tix to listen the hits! Nothing wrong with a bit of blur now and then really! You may have seen the video already but in true fashion the bass player has chimed up and added his 2 pence. Yeah some views never old! There’s something about lights in the audience that hits hard. Though, I do often wonder what it was like in the days of lighters and actual lit flames. But anyway, I’ll take the torches on phones. Perfect example of never believe everything you see or read or hear on the internet… Horns up before the show is now compulsory!! Okay so lemme just drop this here. Listen to that bass tone! Honestly massive sounding. Full video out on YouTube for those interested! Anyway, @lyraofficialuk released an EP a few days ago and it’s deffo worth listening to. This track is called Lose It All!! It’s been a very eventful week so why not top it off with a trial reel to see who actually appreciates an 8 string bass doused in reverb!! I know I do 🫡 Was it a risk to use this @swiffaudio WT09B on a gig for the first time?? Deffo but we’ve gotta embrace the danger!! ⚠️ Auto wah Hitting up the @ovaltavernsessions in Croydon this eve! Playing some blues with the occasional *light* jazz with the legend that is @guytortora! Music at 6! If you’re down, we’re about! Great venue to be fairs, lovely affair If this video blows up I’ll play some primus Come rain or shine Hitting up @nash.down tomorrow with the wonderful @jadehelliwellofficial! What a bill to be part of, it’ll be a great opportunity to catch up with some folks too!
