I recorded a tiny clip of me jamming! I really like this tune at the moment!
Deffo not a double bass tune BUT this bass is so wonderful, anything sounds great on it!

Charlyn played the 229 in Great Portland Street on 22nd January and it was absolutely wicked. We sounded super and there was a big crowd too. Footage to come soon but check out the stage setup before went on stage.
ALEMBIC CLASSICO
Never would I have thought I’d be the owner of an Alembic Classico electric upright bass but there you go. It’s honestly so magical and beautiful and I’ve not stopped playing it. I’ve got some videos on youtube to please check them out.
I hope to be gigging with it very soon, I’ll keep you posted. Time to get practicing anyway, yet another skill to learn…!
So I’ve had an eventful few days! I’ve done some recording with The Second Sons which is sounding out of this world. We have a gig, 23rd November – The Dublin Castle – Doors 7pm.Β
I’ve performed a nice ‘chilled’ set at The Natural History Museum for the opening of the Ice Rink there with Emily Faye.
I’ve been busking all over the London Underground too and it’s nice to see my original music getting such kind comments.
Thanks toΒ https://m.facebook.com/krizphoto for this snap.
It was great gig with Brendan Cleary at The Garage on 22nd October 2016.

I had a brill time performing at, ‘The Garage’ in Islington on Saturday 22nd with Brendan Cleary. Nice big stage and we played to a lot of people. I’m playing my Omnibass here – perfect for that electric upright sound.
