2019, the year of my first ever cruise ship gig! I played with THE legendary Earl Jackson, Sam Kelly and Janos Bajtala on a cruise to Bruges. There was also a jam at the end of the gig with the rock and roll legend that’s Mike Sanchez.

Check out this wicked picture by John Ashton.

As you may know, I love showing off the basses I play and the various amps and setups I use. Here’s another one to add to the list.

Here’s a snap of my rig when LYRA played at legendary, Hope and Anchor in Islington. Thank the bass gods for lights on my bass because this place is extremely dark when playing…!

The Ashdown was the house amp and it sounded great. The bass, as always was clean sounding and FULL of tone.Β 52853990_10215480816231460_1717903011918905344_n.jpg

The United Kingdom did a really cool intimate set at Sakenoteca, a small Japanese cocktail bar in Soho on February 24th. It was a stripped back set but it was still grooving hard.

When a bass has lights built in, it would be a crime not to have them shining bright.

Lyra have been shooting a music video for the new tune S.T.A.Y which will be released soon. Here’s a somewhat candid photo, mid shoot of my bass and I! I’m eager to see the final cut, when I do, I’ll be sure to share it!

I really LOVE the colours in this photos. This was taken when The Second Sons played at The Tropic at Ruislip on 23rd February. Thanks to Re Gina for the snap.

I playing my trusty ’81 Alembic Series 1 and its sound is just so unique. It plays like a dream.

The Second Sons, as always aced it and blew the crowd away at The Troubadour away. Thanks to Tim Russell for these photos!

The chances are, I’ll be smiling with grooving!
