So it would seem I like Tower of Power, so here’s another video!
Here’s some exciting news! NS Design will be using a photo or two of mine in their exhibition booth at NAMM 2020!! They will be showcasing various NS Design players around the world, so I feel very lucky to be involved.
Here’s a shot from when I played bass for Guy Tortora, what a show on 30th Nov! We travelled all the way to Louth, Lincoln which was a trip and a half! It was a great night! My Omni Bass sounded stellar through my Barefaced and GKMB800 combo!
FUNK music below! For a first gig for this new band, the venue was packed which made the show so much more fun! This lot are incredible musicians and really kept me on my toes during the gig, it’s complex music with lots of stops! Very fun though! Pictures coming soon!
It was a real pleasure stepping in on bass for The Jonny Oates Bands, opening the show for the special Izzie Walsh on 1st November! The Deaf Institute is now one of my favourite venues to play and I hope I get back in there soon!
Thanks to Vince Groom for taking some EPIC shots of the band too!
Some bass amp and bass porn right here for you! Check out my small but HUGE rig I use for most of my gigs! Alembic combined with GK and Barefaced is a combo that NEVER disappoints!

Here’s the only photo I got from the gig last night with @backwoodscreek! I would have taken more but for some reason I was put in charge of writing down the set list…some sort of band initiation test or something…it being my first gig with them an’ all…thanks guys! • Seriously though, incredible musicians and a pleasure to perform with! • @alembicguitars @barefacedaudio @gkeuofficial @gruvgear • #bassphotos #countryscene #bassplayer
I just changed my strings on my stick and WOW! The tones, the licks, everything is sounding incredible! Here’s a cool video that I just had to make! I play this sort of stuff at Casa Manolo every Thursday, in Putney and Clapham. See you there!
