Now this is what I call a ‘gold medal finish’. My first time at Metropolis Studios was a time I’ll never forget. Two days, 24hrs of tracking bass and various other things for the new The United Kingdom album. Check out the size of this bass too…?! It’s HUGE.

First gig of the New Year, COMPLETE! The United Kingdom took a trip to Crawley to play at The New Moon. It was a wicked night and our originals went down well! I’m recording an album with these guys on the 27-29 January! CRAZY!
Last gig of the year with The United Kingdom!! Check out my bass solo on a good ole rock and roll groove!
What a weekend!! I had the absolute joy of performing with Emily Faye at the British Country Music Association Awards in Harrogate! We played on a huge stage in the Harrogate Convention Centre…WOWZA!

What a weekend! I travelled down to Torquay to play a cool, rock and roll gig with Earl Jackson. It was honestly one of the best gigs I’ve ever played. Earl is one of the best performers I’ve worked with and damn, what a guitar player!
Thanks to Earl for having me in his band!
Here’s a photo of my bass rig. I’m awaiting some recordings and hopefully some photos too.

Yet another incredible snap by Tom Gold from Goldwood Images! I have plenty more to show you don’t worry! This Alembic Direwolf is just incredible, you could say I’m quite the Alembic enthusiast now…
This shot was taken from The Second Sons’ residency, next show, 25th October!
NEW GEAR ADDITION – WELCOMING THE BEATBUDDY TO MY SETUP!Β
It’s a cool little drummer in a pedal and it has SO many presets and styles. The functions are simple and easy but what’s hard is being able to use it effectively to enhance the music I’m playing. I’m treating it as an additional instrument…I’ll let you know how I get on and if I come up with something cool with it, I’ll show you.
This photo is also from a garden party I played in Roehampton. I think my setup is now complete too which is a bonus.

I JUST HAD THE BEST WEEKEND EVERΒ
Emily Faye played Rochdale’s ‘Feel Good Festival’ and damn, what a crowd! I estimate around 2k in the audience, hard to tell but we played a super set! I just wish we could play it again, right now!
