Well, it was a SOLD OUT night at the Green Note in Camden for Emily Faye! What a great evening it was, supporting the genius country queen that is, Katy Hurt! It was an absolute pleasure, as always to play bass for Emily and have THE Michael Clancy on guitar too.

Thanks to Colin Jones for this photo! I love my NS Design Omni Bass!

What a weekend! I travelled down to Torquay to play a cool, rock and roll gig with Earl Jackson. It was honestly one of the best gigs I’ve ever played. Earl is one of the best performers I’ve worked with and damn, what a guitar player!

Thanks to Earl for having me in his band!

Here’s a photo of my bass rig. I’m awaiting some recordings and hopefully some photos too.

I had the pleasure of trekking all the way across London with my Alembic Classico and it was VERY worth it. I was in a video shoot for Emily Faye’s new single, ‘Giving In’.

Here’s a very cool snap that is from yesterday! There’s no wrong time or place to get a practice in!

The video should be out in the first week of April so I’ll keep you posted!

My new Jazz trio, The Afternoon Project, has its first gig in London on Sunday 11th March. We’re playing a bar in Soho, Norman’s Coach and Horses (I’m so close to Ronnie’s, I think it’s the next street). We’re playing two sets and I’ll be using my NS Omnibass because it’s light and portable. It still gives that great upright bass sound. It’s fantastic. Here’s a photo from my rehearsal the other night.

I’m working on a few special things with my Alembic Classico! It’s such a magnificent piece of craftsmanship. I’m doing a lot of recording at the moment too! It’s all exciting stuff.

Check out this cool shot.

Here are some other pictures of the Classico, my dad is poking about in the electronics.
