Look at this vibey crowd shot from Emily Faye’s gig at The Half Moon, Putney! It’s such fun gigging with this lot! I always love using the Classico also, there’s really no bass like it!

There’s never a wrong time or place for funk, especially on a double bass!! That T-Shirt is fairly cool too!

It was a real joy to play the Blind Spot Bar at the St Martins Lane Hotel in Leicester Square. The Second Sons were the first band to have ever played a gig there so that’s pretty cool! Check out the snap below.

I was using the famous DIREWOLF and I just know my bass lines got those people dancing!

Thanks to Eat Me Drink Me for having me play yesterday! Look at my cool busking set up!

Ealing Artisan is going to be a weekly market so make sure you get down to hear other performers and try some excellent food!

P.s. I’ve heard the brownies are SUPERB!

So it’s been another busy week, as usual. I’ve been doing a lot of busking and gigging which is fantastic.

On Saturday 14th, Emily Faye performed at Kensington Roof Gardens. I even got a bass solo, check this video out!

This guys are exceptional musicians and there’s never a dull moment with them!

At the moment, I’m working on some improv over a II-V-I in Gmaj.

I’m making good progress which is always positive! Here’s what I have so far!

Have a listen and a watch below!

I’ve been focusing on my upright bass playing, y’know, gotta keep working! It’s a Jazz standard in 3/4 and I’m working on getting my walking technique fluid and clean.

Hope you like the video
