What a weekend! I travelled down to Torquay to play a cool, rock and roll gig with Earl Jackson. It was honestly one of the best gigs I’ve ever played. Earl is one of the best performers I’ve worked with and damn, what a guitar player!
Thanks to Earl for having me in his band!
Here’s a photo of my bass rig. I’m awaiting some recordings and hopefully some photos too.

The Afternoon Project had its debut Jazz gig at The Green Rooms, over in Wood Green! What a gig! Nice and intimate and a really good test to see how my Jazz playing is. I have some things to work on BUT overall, I’m super happy with how it went!
It was great to get the Omnibass out on a gig too! It’s perfect! It’s got the upright sound and feel and yet, I can wear it! More pics on the way soon.

My new Jazz trio, The Afternoon Project, has its first gig in London on Sunday 11th March. We’re playing a bar in Soho, Norman’s Coach and Horses (I’m so close to Ronnie’s, I think it’s the next street). We’re playing two sets and I’ll be using my NS Omnibass because it’s light and portable. It still gives that great upright bass sound. It’s fantastic. Here’s a photo from my rehearsal the other night.
Thanks toΒ https://m.facebook.com/krizphoto for this snap.
It was great gig with Brendan Cleary at The Garage on 22nd October 2016.

Action shot of LOWLA performing for Sofar Sessions. It was a great night and thanks to everybody who came down and supported us.
Feelin’ and lookin’ very 90’s.

Exactly what you need for a walking bass line over some jazzy changes
