I’ve had a super busy week! Lots of playing, lots of gigs and lots of networking BUT FIRST, below is some footage of my playing at Fulham’s North End Road Christmas Market. What a day that was and thanks to the market for everything they organised!
As you know, I’ve been feeling festive for a while now, I decided to do a Christmas cover of ‘Walking In The Air’! Hope you like it!
I’m also very excited to be playing at Fulham’s Christmas market, Saturday 9th DecemberΒ I play at 11am on the Goose stage. I’ll be making more appearances during the day so if you miss that one, you won’t miss the others!

***NEW SOUNDCLOUD UPLOAD ALERT***
I’ve just dropped a new funky tune that I really like, I hope you do too! It’s got slap bass, funky drums, picky guitars, cool bass fills and a wicked ambient solo, feel free to share around also!
There’s never a wrong time or place for funk, especially on a double bass!! That T-Shirt is fairly cool too!
So it’s been another busy week, as usual. I’ve been doing a lot of busking and gigging which is fantastic.
On Saturday 14th, Emily Faye performed at Kensington Roof Gardens. I even got a bass solo, check this video out!
This guys are exceptional musicians and there’s never a dull moment with them!
I had my first gig with The New Kid in Town up in Camden. We rocked The Fiddler’s Elbow with some cool original vintage rock! When I get photos I shall post them but check out this little instagram video of my bass an’ I during soundcheck.
Remember the Direwolf bass I was on about?
Well, I don’t know how to describe it, how it sounds, how it feels, anything. It’s yet another Alembic that has blown me away, in such a great way!
Here’s footage of me playing one of my session bass lines for CHARLYN. The band liked it so much, I became their bassist. Hope you enjoy it!
I’ve been focusing on my upright bass playing, y’know, gotta keep working! It’s a Jazz standard in 3/4 and I’m working on getting my walking technique fluid and clean.
Hope you like the video
